Ron’s mother is in the hospital at Kaiser where she will spend Thanksgiving.  Today, from down the hall, we heard a harpist.  (Yes, there is a harpist at Kaiser.  Make your reservations early.)  She was playing by the doorway of George Franklin who had just had two toes amputated.  Together, they performed “Summertime,” from Porgy and Bess and George sang with the voice of a broadway star.  The world is truly gorgeous. So, hush, little baby, don’t you cry.
